So far (I've only had the unit for 4 days) everything is working as it should. Two instruction booklets are furnished - one for the heater and one for the thermostat - but neither goes into great detail as to exactly how the two are to be hooked up and how the controls are to be set so the the thermostat will control the heater. After a brief trial and error period both are working properly and appear to be just what I needed to heat the greenhouse.

My greenhouse is 8x20. We were advised to purchase a 1500 watt heater. This little heater keeps the chill off this spring, but honestly, to keep it warmer in there i should have probably bought a higher capacity unit. I do not think it will warm substantially in the colder winter months.

Great little heater/fan. It kept the new greenhouse at the temperature I wanted during the last hard freeze. I temporarily used a small propane heater but getting up to turn it on every 2-3 hours (for 15-20 mins) was inconvenient and the moisture/humidity buildup was whack. Glad I found this product!

"Working Well in Coastal NC (So Far!)" We purchased this greenhouse heater as we head into mid-November here in coastal North Carolina. Our morning temperatures are currently in the mid-30s, rising to the low-60s by midday, so we needed something reliable to keep our plants safe. Our Setup: We are using this heater in a 10x12 ft greenhouse. For extra measure, we have also installed two supplemental heat lamps attached to the ceiling. Performance Right Now: The heater is performing exactly as it should. We have the thermostat set to 68 degrees, and the temperature inside the greenhouse has not dipped below 66 degrees during the daytime. Everything seems to be running smoothly so far. Things to Watch For: I haven't gotten up in the middle of the night yet to check the overnight minimum temperatures, which will be the real test. The true challenge will be seeing how well this unit holds up during the colder months of January and February when we experience our lowest annual temperatures. Overall, a positive experience so far, and we are optimistic it will continue to keep our greenhouse warm through the winter!

This is a marvelous heater and thermostat. No green house should be without this amazing system. I live in the high country of Colorado in Zone 5 and have plants and vegetables already growing and protected thanks to the Palma heater and Biogreen thermostat A must have for the best results.

The products shipped were not the model indicated and pictured throughout the description, the “Palma.” I have used the “Palma” model for years and have been pleased with its performance. The models shipped were the “Palma Twin.” Several times I have tried to purchase another “Palma” but have been shipped the “Palma Twin” instead. Each time I thought I might try the new model, but I have ultimately returned most of them due to the items being damaged in shipping, blowing the fuse when used on 1500kW, or not heating. I am seriously disappointed that the previous model with which I’ve been pleased no longer appears to be available, even though vendors continue to advertise it as such. I would not recommend the ‘Palma Twin” version of the described heater. Since I have tried several times to purchase the reliable “Palma” version of this heater only to receive the “Palma Twin,” I will be looking for another company to provide a more reliable heater.

This is a nice heater it has been in use for a couple of months. It works great it does not admit an orange glow , it is quiet and smooth and it seems like it will last i good wile, it would be cool if the controller was metal too, with manual knobs. I like that the numbers flash several times on the controller .

We got a small greenhouse back in 2020, finally was able to get a pad poured and the greenhouse assembled in Sept of 2021. Started planning on how to keep things warm in the gh over the winter, looked at insulating and getting a heater. Obtained the Palma with the thermostat and it has been a wonderful addition. Here in NM in the winter, day temps will be in the 30's but free solar gain from the sun keeps the gh nice and warm.....so the Palma runs just at night. I saw an increase in the electric bill, but not close to what others have said they experienced. Its now early spring, overnight temps are in the mid 40's so it doesn't run much.

To be honest, I haven't yet really had the chance to use the heater. This is a replacement; the first one I received was defective, but under warranty was replaced almost immediately with very little effort on my part; the new heater was received in just a matter of days. Excellent ability to control temperatures this winter in my 4’X8’ lean-to greenhouse. The range of settings allow you to set temperatures just above freezing or as high as you need for the winter. The product is good and effectively heats our greenhouse, but what is as important is that the company adheres to good business values. As with any device, failures can occur. Our Palma heater stopped heating - after the warranty ended, of course. In an effort to try to get it repaired, I contacted the company. I expected advice as to how to get the part, or even a repair service. Instead, they simply sent me a replacement - warranty or no. In today’s world, this degree of attention to principles is rare.
